 At St. Edward's we are very proud of our fundraising spirit and celebrate the value of charity in our daily lives. Throughout the school year, we raise money and awareness for charities who assist others locally, nationally and internationally. Here are some of the charities we have supported this year. 

CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK FEBRUARY 2024 - PLACE2B

Thank you to our wonderful St. Edward's community for supporting our fundraising events during Children's Mental Health week.  We raised a total of £145 which has been donated to Place2B Charity.

NSPCC NUMBER DAY FEBRUARY 2024

Not only was Number Day great fun but our school collected £85 for NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity working to help keep children safe.

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL NOVEMBER 2023

We raised a fantastic amount of £96.64 - a big thank you to everyone who donated or bought a poppy.

ANTI-BULLYING ALLIANCE - ODD SOCKS DAY NOVEMBER 2022

On the 14th of November, we all enjoyed wearing our most colourful and odd socks - and all for a good cause too!  St Edward's raised £76.00 to donate to the Anti-Bullying Alliance. 

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL NOVEMBER 2022

Thank you to everyone who supported the Poppy Appeal at our school - we collected £86.93 which was the second-highest amount raised by any school in the area. This will go towards continuing the vital welfare and benevolent work of the Royal British Legion.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING CAKE SALE SEPTEMBER 2022

We are very happy to share that our school raised just over £230.00 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  This was all thanks to our school community's kind donations of freshly baked biscuits, cakes and generous contributions.
